These plates have been donated to raise money for  Boy Scout Troop 25 here in Lucedale. They have much of an annual budget.  I’ve taken on the project of raising money and renovating the Scout Hut. The roof was removed in Katrina and that’s been fixed, but the building hasn’t been touched other than that in the last 30 years or so.  So far we’ve insulated the ceiling, installed a new ceiling, totally rewired the building, new lighting,  lots of painting has been done, but lots more has to be done. More ceilings, more painting, doors, windows, furnishings, etc. Every small contribution makes a huge difference.

I’m very proud of the fact that since we’ve started this project, it’s been totally financed by        License Plate Collectors. Yep, that’s right, Plate Collectors! What a wonderful bunch! They’ve really heeded the call for support and the Scouts and the community are grateful. 

See what a difference a few guys can make. Now that we have a start, the community has pitched in and things are really starting to happen. A few plate collectors with big hearts made this amazing transformation possible.
