South Mississippi Regional Meet

 

 The 2nd Annual ALPCA South Mississippi Regional meet will be held on  April 17th & 18th 2009 in Lucedale, MS.

 

 The location has been changed to the County Fairgrounds Building located at 9162 Old Highway 63 South in Lucedale, MS. The Fairgrounds Building offers air conditioning, an easy load in, and plenty of good home cooking onsite.

 

 Directions: From Main Street in Lucedale, turn South at the only red light on Main Street. Turn left at the first stop sign (John Deere Dealer on the right) on Old Highway 63. You will pass the fast food restaurants, Walmart, and George County High School. The Fairgrounds will be about a mile South of the High School on your left. You can’t miss it.

 

 Tables will be $10 each. Please reserve your tables early by calling (601-947-2905) or emailing Greg Tomes ( tomesg@aol.com).  There will also be a donation auction.

 

 Suggested lodging: Rocky Creek Inn (601-947-6900) or the Holiday Inn Express (601-947-2099), both located on Highway 98, Lucedale, MS.

 

         For those of you who haven’t been here before

Last year’s meet was a lot of fun. A lot of guys stopped by my house on their way into town and after the meet on both days. It turned out to be a few late nights, but a lot of fun. So everyone is welcomed here as well to rattle through plates to their hearts content. I live a block off Main Street in Lucedale and I’m easy to find.
